I.S.A.

International Student Association

I.S.A. (International Student Association of Japan) is a traditional students organization whose parent association was started in 1934.

We have a philosophy of "contributing to world peace".

Our organization promotes international mutual understanding through some programs.

For example, we study domestic and foreign problems in International student conference.

In additional, we join exchange programs with foreign students.

The member of us is the students all over Japan.

Many programs are provided for I.S.A. members in order to approach its philosophy.

Different university students all over Japan belong to I.S.A.

Each university belongs to a "chapter", which roughly classifies an area.

There are six chapters: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Okayama, and Kyushu.

Each chapter is further divided into "branches", which consists of several other universities.

The members of I.S.A. take part in the activities of the branch.

Number of members is more than 500 people in February, 2012.

Many activities beyond the branch are carried out actively.
